Description Jim McAtee 2007-10-30 15:15:52 UTC
In the server settings, Extras page, it's a little difficult to visually determine a plugin's state, requiring you to read the button labels, then invert what you see. "Disable" means "enabled" and "Enable" means the plugin is "disabled". Some kind of icon would be helpful here - for instance: a green light for those that are enabled, red for those that are disabled. Or something similar.

Maybe a different request: There's no way to know which plugins are in a state that won't change until the server is restarted. This can lead to some confusion if the user doesn't restart the server immediately (or forgets, or doesn't realize that it's necessary). I would suggest that some type of visual indication be given that a) there are pending changes that require a server restart and b) which plugins will be enabled or disabled when that happens.

Why not have just a column of checkboxes on this page?

Brian, what do you think?

Yep checkboxes are fine...we discussed this in another bug, but just wanted to weigh in here too for the record

This appears to have been fixed by Michael.
