Description Geoff Bonallack 2004-09-29 14:03:21 UTC
I have several albums of .mpc files (all correctly tagged with a genre,
artist, etc), and they all get filed under "No Genre".

Other information such as the artist and album is read correctly.

I have tried moving the tags to each of apeV2, ID3v1, ID3v2 - none of it made
any difference. Converting the files to mp3 of course solved the problem, but
not the bug.
The server version is 5.3.0.

seek end of file properly

the file seek was backwards so the file length sanity check was always failing
and tags are not beign read. This fixes the problem.

Tags also need to be converted to UC for Info.pm to index them properly.

Also should fix bug450

checked in a fix with the recommendation of Dan Sully.
please reopen if you still have problems after Sept 30/Oct 1 nightly.

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
