Description Bryan Alton 2007-10-25 05:11:48 UTC
Build 14081

Minor usability issues
In Default skin - Advanced Settings - Infobrowser editing menu. There is a Home on the breadcrumb trail. Click Home and you lose edit and get a "Home" page alongside Advanced settings in second window. In Classic skin, edit is lost but Home display is normal and only one window.

Yeah, we've got a problem here as InfoBrowser doesn't handle settings page the standard way. Couldn't it be handled the same way as the favorites?

Change 15472 - please test _all_ installers and readme/getting started documents and re-open if needed. Thanks!

Ooops, sorry, that was the wrong bug :-)
Comment 4 Michael Herger 2007-12-20 00:40:19 UTC
Adrian - couldn't we integrate the "edit" link into the main page, similar to how we're doing it in favorites?
Comment 5 Adrian Smith 2007-12-22 05:03:46 UTC
Actually the breadcrumb is not working as it is linking back to favorites and not the infobrowser.opml file.

I'll look at it...

Michael - it looks like it would need work in xmlbrowser to do this to make it link more cleanly with the favorites editor. Would it be easiler (and safer for the short term) to have something in the Default skin set noHomeLink if a page is loaded inside the settings frame? [I'm not sure where you find that you are building a page for the settings frame at present so hoping you can help here...]

Adrian - now that we've been working on Favorites a bit more and have MyRadio almost done (don't we?), is there still this issue with integrating the "edit" link into the home menu?
Comment 8 Michael Herger 2008-06-12 01:59:48 UTC
change 20668 - as channels are now editable from the main menu, I'v removed that link from the settings page. The underlaying issue was making Favorites work with the sess parameter. Had to add it in some more places.
