I've got Random Songs Mix selected.
It was playing 'Baby In Black' by 'The Beatles' from 'Beatles For Sale'.
The now playing screensaver showed the album cover properly.
Then the track changed to 'Dry County' by 'Bon Jovi' from 'Keep The Faith'.
The now playing screensaver showed the track details, but no cover - not even the 'note' placeholder.
Going to the web interface, the image shows.
Going to the Jive 'Now Playing' menu option (ie top level, not the screen saver) shows the image.
Leaving it for 30 seconds, the now playing screen saver kicked in but still no image (presume the caching in the Now Playing not-the-screensaver didn't update it, then).

With firmware r720 + SC 13944.

It's just rolled on to the next track - Cosmic Thing by The B52s from Cosmic Thing, and after a short delay it did show the album cover.
I'm wondering if maybe an incomplete album cover JPEG was received and it didn't revert to the placeholder (the album cover should be ok on the server, though, as the Now playing not-the-screensaver worked fine).

Has repeated when going from Eleventh Earl Of Mar to 'What You Waiting For' by Gwen Stefani from Love Angel Music Baby.
Same symptoms: Now Playing not-the-screensaver shows the album image; web interface shows the album image. Now Playing screensaver didn't.

Eleventh Earl Of Mar (or rather that album) has a folder.jpg of 5.9K.
What You Waiting For (or rather that album) has a folder.jpg of 52.9K.

Baby In Black (or.. you get the idea) has a folder.jpg of 11.2K.
Dry County has a folder.jpg of 9.84K.

So scratch the idea of over-sized images.
All the Folder.jpg files will have been converted by imagemagick from far larger images to be 200x200 (approximately) and should not (TTBOMK) have anything clever like being progressive or multi-scan. I can investigate this if it is believed that the form of the JPEG may be the issue.

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
