Description Philip Meyer 2007-10-18 16:00:02 UTC
If I add a concert from the Live Music Archive as a favorite, and then navigate to the favorite and click on the name, I get a list of the tracks. I can play individual entries, but "All Songs" play and add buttons don't work.
Comment 1 KDF 2007-10-20 19:40:31 UTC
I suspect this is an issue with LMA with Favorites. bug 5875 is another LMA handling issue under favorites, as is bug 5843.
Comment 2 Chris Owens 2007-11-05 10:58:54 UTC
This is probably not LMA specific, says Andy.
Comment 3 Andy Grundman 2007-11-09 10:27:36 UTC
OK I think this is a bug with Favorites. For some reason it doesn't handle OPML the same way XMLBrowser does. If you try to play All Songs in a concert from the regular Music On Demand -> LMA menu, it works fine. Playing the same thing from Favorites doesn't. Triode, what do you think?
Comment 4 Adrian Smith 2007-11-10 04:24:53 UTC
Favorites didn't do anything for playadd/addall cases which xmlbrowser does. I've changed it to bail out to xmlbrowser for all play links to hopefully do the same as xmlbrowser in all cases for playing from the web interface.

Change 14581 - please check and close as appropriate...

I can now press Play on a Live Music Archive Favorite, and the tracks get added to the current playlist.

However, the songs don't play. I can play the songs via Live Music Archive, but not when stored as a favorite.
Comment 6 Adrian Smith 2007-11-10 05:56:26 UTC
Hum - works for me. Could you see what logging player.source gives when you do this?
Comment 7 Philip Meyer 2007-11-11 16:06:02 UTC
I have got it working now.

I think it started to play on the wrong player before. I managed to repeat this issue. The problem is that if I navigate to favorites and then change player, and then select to play music from the favorite, it still plays on the original player, not the newly selected player. When I change player, I see the left-hand panel refresh, but it still seems to be associated with the original player.
Comment 8 Andy Grundman 2007-11-11 16:29:33 UTC
I've noticed this too, in the new skin changing players doesn't always properly rewrite all the links. Michael?
Comment 9 Michael Herger 2007-11-11 21:59:25 UTC
I've opened a new bug 6135 to take care about the player switching issue. It's imho a major problem. I happened to launch random mixes on wrong players more than once.

Please close this bug if it's reduce to the player switching issue.
Comment 10 Philip Meyer 2007-11-12 00:31:36 UTC
When the songs get added to the wrong player, they don't play either. However, that's related to 6135, so this bug can be marked as fixed.

This bug is being closed since it was resolved for a version which is now released! Please download the new version of SqueezeCenter (formerly SlimServer) at http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html

If you are still seeing this bug, please re-open it and we will consider it for a future release.

bug 6135 has been fixed, but I retested this bug report and it's still not playing tracks when I play all on a LMA added to favorites.

For testing, I tried:
Home > Live Music Archive > Recent Additions > audioform (2008-11-12 - Winston-Salem, NC)

The favorite content listed 8 tracks. When I hit play all, it failed to list track 1 in the current playlist. Track 2 tried to play, but didn't work. I tried to play all again, and again track 1 wasn't listed, but this time track 2 did actually play. However, the track title names change to urls as each track plays.

My log contains:

If I play the LMA album all tracks directly via the LMA Music Service, it plays all tracks fine.

Works for me:

Browse to LMA -> Recent
Click heart icon next to first item (audioform).
Go back to Home
Expand Favorites
Click audioform entry
Click Play icon next to All Songs.
