I believe for this to work the menu item needs to be something other than a checkbox. Need a fix for 5786 before that can work properly.

fixed in change 17764. this should also fix 6227.

Verified 7.0.1 - 19325 / r2409 contains Choose Genre sub menu for Random Mix

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
