Description Philip Meyer 2007-10-15 16:40:13 UTC
If I browse playlists from the player UI, the last option in the playlist is "Favorite # (Go right to delete)". If this is selected, it actually adds the playlist as a favorite.

The option then changes to "Go right to add to favourites", but this option actually deletes the playlist from the favorites.

i.e. the options to add/delete favorite are the wrong way round.

Should the add/delete favorite options be there within the browse playlist menu anyway? They aren't within any other browse menus (eg, when browsing an album).

Perhaps a better way of implementing add/delete favorites would be to provide the option as a mixer? Press play.add on any album, playlist or song to bring up an "Add to favorites" or "Delete from favorites" option.

cc'ing Dean if he wants to chime in.

I think I understand his philosophy well enough to say that these options should be available in the player UI.

I don't have a strong opinion about the mechanism, however.

Seems to work, but I noticed some follow-on issues. I'll raise new bugs.
