The text "volume" is unreadable (black on very dark) and the layout of the popup is not right.

Partly fixed in r848. The speakers and slider are still not aligned correct, this is also a problem with the volume control in the sound effects menu and the screen brightness slider.

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
