Bugzilla – Bug 5776
Inconsistent behaviour of web volume control when no player found
Last modified: 2008-12-18 11:12:53 UTC
Using SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0 - 13775 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252 So I'd just installed todays version of the software and I went to the default home page of the web interface. I'd forgotten to start Softsqueeze so there was no player attached. But on the right hand panel (using the new default skin) the player controls were there: in particular I could select a volume level from one to eleven [thanks for keeping that in, guys] by clicking on one of the bars. But clicking the softer and louder icons on either side of the bars had no effect. OK, with no player it doesn't make much sense to be changing volume. But it should be all or nothing: allow all of the controls to work, or none of them. If I then start Softsqueeze then I get normal behaviour - I can control volume by clicking either the bars or the icons. BTW - if I then stop Softsqueeze and refresh the page, the softsqueeze instance is still shown on the interface (pull down on top right), but the inconsistent volume control behaviour is back again.
I fixed that... a while ago. change 13793?
