Description Philip Meyer 2007-10-10 01:09:04 UTC
I browsed Live365 stations by Official Stations, and found a station named "Wishbone Ash - The".

I tried to search for "Wishbone" using Live365 Search, but couldn't find the station. I tried Keywords and Station Searches, neither worked.

Also, a search by Station using the WebUI for "Wishbone" returns an empty search results page, but it has Play+Add buttons, and a title "search results for Wishbone", with the URL used to get the data.

Hmm, can you find this station on Live365's own search page? I see it in the Official Stations list but can't find it on the real Live365 search engine.

The live365 plugin provides several ways of browsing the list of stations: professional, commercial, independent, live, official, etc.

These seem to vaguely relate to going to www.live365.com, going to the advanced search page, ticking a checkbox, eg "Official" and hitting Find Stations. However, the results are not the same - "Wishbone Ash, The" doesn't appear in the search results when I search all "Offical" stations with no other search criteria. The sort order is completely different too.

I wonder if this is to do with SqueezeNetwork now caching the list of live365 radio stations when browsing, but when using search, it searches Live365 server directly?

There doesn't seem to be a radio station name search facility on live365 - only a station info search. So "Search Stations" in the plugin would seem to be incorrect.

Assigned to Julien to pass to Live365 per Dean. Basically, their search won't find the station name if you search for it. It will only find things in the description.
