Description Philip Meyer 2007-10-09 14:45:32 UTC
From advanced search in new Default skin, I tried to search for a song name "t". The browser "Loading..." indicator continued to spin. I tried to abort the search by pressing backspace (back in browser). However, after the previous page was taken from the browser cache, I couldn't then do anything. I pressed the browser refresh button - nothing happened.

Eventually after some time, the browser refreshed and everything was back to normal. I guess the search continued to run in the background, blocking other operations until it completed.

welcome to the modern world of ajax :)

It's annoying, but browser controls won't interrupt the server's processing.
