Description Jacob Potter 2007-10-08 16:04:52 UTC
When I try to connect to a wireless network with MAC address filtering, the Jive freezes after about a second on the connecting screen. Rebooting causes the device to hang on the "Free Your Music" screen; I can log in via the serial console, but /usr/bin/jive doesn't get past "Loading: jive.JiveMain". A factory reset (holding "add") fixes it.

PQP-2.0 hardware, firmware r679.

Jacob, what hardware and settings are you using for your wireless network? I see the MAC filter problem here but I just get a Connection Problem screen with the options Try again, Try different network and Go back without the Jive hanging. Bug #5517 could be related.

The router belongs to a buddy across the hall; I'll check with him.

Oh, I see, thanks.

Jacob: is this working with the latest firmware?
Comment 5 Ross Levine 2007-11-01 16:34:38 UTC
I'm not seeing this. I just tried it with r772 (2.6.22) and Jive is failing gracefully.

This no longer seems to happen with the latest firmware. Marking as fixed.
