Description Nalle Johansson 2004-09-20 16:53:28 UTC
when testing bug 545 - killing the network and overload it and so on - the
bufferfullnes dosn't work. It freezes and after a while the music stops. When
the network is up again the player shows the right value again (about 0% and it
went up to 100%).

this isn't a bug. when the server is killed, there is no server to deliver
graphic information to the squeezebox. Thus, no buffer.

I can understand that the progressbar will not work if there is no server
sending data - but then I cant understand why It has been working before.

If I unplug the RJ45-cable the bar freezes now. With a older firmware it dosnt.

it should not have been working before either. Sean has stated that he's
working on a firmware-side buffer display. it will not be the same as the
current progress bar.
