Description Ceejay 2007-09-29 10:11:11 UTC
trying to enter a network drive into the "Music Folder" box in Server Settings (and yes I am aware of the issues of doing this in Windows).

It looks like its trying to be very helpful (clever) and anticipating the share names that I might want to specify, but its mangling the names in the list that is coming up.

So I enter \\192.168.1.20\musiclib (which is where the library is) and I get offered

\\192.168.1.20\musiclibC:
\\192.168.1.20\musiclibD:
...
\\192.168.1.20\musiclibJ:

(C to J being the local drives available on this PC).

Same result if I use the machine name instead of IP address.

This can't be right...

Change 13417 - don't add drive letters to list with partial UNC path
