With the September 14, 2007 version of firmware, the time on the status bar on the bottom of the screen is now updating. That's great! However, the time eventually won't update when it is put into the charging dock. It seems to update for a few minutes while in the charger and then the time displayed freezes. The Jive is still functional, though. I don't know how long it takes before it stops.

Once you pull it out of the charger, it usually stays frozen until I spin the scroll wheel. Maybe the buttons unfreeze the time too, but I haven't tried it. Maybe it unfreezes when you spin the scroll wheel while it's in the charger too, but I haven't tried that yet either.

Using PQP2 Jive Hardware Platform.

I don't think this is specific to being on the charger. I've had the Jive sitting in front of me for a few minutes and it's been displaying "10:22PM" all that time. At least since 00:14 it's been showing "10:22PM", so there's some inconsistency between the times, and it's not updating. It's 00:18 now and it still says "10:22PM".

Richard notes that this seems intermittent, and that using the scroll wheel sometimes prompts a refresh/update

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
