Description Blackketter Dean 2007-09-14 12:07:31 UTC
When the network fails to connect, subsequent to a successful setup, due to a specific error or 30 second timeout, an error screen should be displayed:

Network Problem

Try Again >
Choose Network >

This remote is having trouble
connecting to <networkname>.
<brief error description>

Jive should continue to try to reconnect in the background, and if it succeeds, return from this screen automatically. This screen should only be displayed if the device is in a full woken state (i.e. not displayed when dimmed or in screensavers).

Work in progress fix for this bug. The patch has several things wrong with it, and I'll pick this up again soon.
Comment 2 Richard Titmuss 2007-12-04 02:14:17 UTC
Punting on this to 7.0.
Comment 3 Richard Titmuss 2008-01-29 06:16:18 UTC
This is unlikely to be done for 7.0.
Comment 4 Richard Titmuss 2008-06-26 00:31:38 UTC
I don't have time to complete this for 7.1.
Comment 5 Richard Titmuss 2008-07-24 04:44:55 UTC
Punting to 7.3
Comment 6 Richard Titmuss 2008-10-30 04:36:49 UTC
Tom, maybe you can take a look at this along with bug 6334.
Comment 7 James Richardson 2008-12-19 08:00:48 UTC
Changing target to next release
Comment 8 Blackketter Dean 2009-07-22 08:38:49 UTC
Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any player based on that application code. Feel free to move it back if it's specific to the single original product.
Comment 9 Richard Titmuss 2009-07-27 01:13:00 UTC
Reset priority before triage.
