Description Kevin Pearsall 2004-09-10 16:06:11 UTC
Customer reported bug.

Reproduced with latest nightly and firmware 37 for Squeezebox. As well as
SLIMP3 v2.3...

Just use a character display Squeezebox or SLIMP3, and enable elapsed time...
If you have a long song title it will no longer scroll at all.

Steps to repro:
- connect a slimp3 or character squeezebox to slimserver (post-g)
- play a song with a huge title
- watch scrolling. then hit the now playing button (twice if you're somewhere
else in the menus), and notice scrolling stops when there is any of the
following enabled): Elapsed Time, Remaining Time, Elapsed Time + Progress bar,
Remaining Time + Progress bar, Progress bar...

I've tested this with cvs, and it does appear to work now on both slimp3 and
squeezebox. Will be part of sept 11 build. Please re-open if there are still
any problems

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
Comment 5 Chris Owens 2008-12-18 11:51:44 UTC
Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
