Description Paul Fessler 2007-09-09 14:00:33 UTC
Ripped an old favorite of mine using EAC->FLAC
Rec;d no errors, ran FLAC test not errors there. When I tried to play album track one played - then slimserver froze up, later skipped to track 10 - but slim server still frozen. Rebooted, rescanned, re ripped - problem still exists.
Turned on de bugging will attcha log. Curious as to what's up, why this particular Cd caused problems - The flac file plays in other Flac players ( COWON, Windows Media with Flacc ass on, DB Poweramp - just not in Squeeezebox. Will try ripping as wav to see if that eliminates the problem.

Dan, could I get you or one of your guys to look at this issue? It might be helpful to get an example of the failing file from Paul. Thanks.

Our support group advises me that this was an issue with the FLAC file, not with Slimserver. Please let me know if that's incorrect.
