On my remote running the nightly build from the 8th, the now playing screensaver was selected by default, but didn't actually activate until I selected a different screensaver and then reselected now playing.  Until then, the None screensaver was activated instead.

Fixed between r478-r480.

You may need to do a factory reset, or reselect your screensaver for the fix to work correctly.
