When entering the Now Playing screen it should automatically jump to the currently playing track.  At the moment Now Playing just lists the current playlist.  If you've been listening to music for a long time it can be quite hard to find out what the currently playing track is as you have to scroll through the history of played tracks in order to find it.

So, to verify I understand: Currently the playlist is shown and the track now playing is highlighted.  If you are playing a very long playlist, however, the highlighted track will be inexplicably off the bottom of the screen and you have to scroll for a Long Time to get to it.  Is that correct?

Yes, that's correct.  Also, the currently playing track does not update if it changes whilst you have the screen displayed.
