I guess it is a showBriefly again from the server, but when a radio stream gets choked off and goes into rebuffering mode, the jive ui continually refreshes a popup in the centre of the screen saying "rebuffering...xx%" along with the notice sound, repeating every second until the buffering catches up.  It sounds much more alarming than it needs to be :)
