File this under: WTF

The search button doesn't work when using the N800, but has no issue on any PC browser, including Opera.

Issue doesn't exist when going to SS6.5.x (Ubuntu), but shows up when going to SS7 (OS X).

Pushed search.html through w3c validator and didn't come up with anything.

I'm also seeing the onSubmit from the player chooser not working again, which is likely related.

Ben - is this a Nokia770 skin issue or Default?
Comment 2 Ben Klaas 2007-10-08 07:45:01 UTC
Nokia770 skin only.

Ben: what release should we target this bug for?
Comment 4 Ben Klaas 2007-10-26 09:09:09 UTC
7.1, although I may have a fix before then.

I haven't figured out what to do with this yet. The fundamental issue is Opera's handling of some javascript, and the Nokia tablet OS is moving to a Mozilla-based browser with the 810 (which the 800 can upgrade to). The only remaining question mark is how to support 770 users, and I haven't figured that part out yet.

Siduhe confirmed with the most current 770 OS (which I have to guess is the last 770 OS), this problem still exists.

this is not an issue in the N800 with OS2008. I've opened 7551 for 770-specific issues.

This bug has now been fixed in the 7.1 release version of SqueezeCenter! Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com if you haven't already.

If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
