Description Oscar Forsstrom 2007-08-15 13:23:57 UTC
After installing version 7.0a1 on top of my previous 6.5.4 installation everything completes fine but upon trying to access the server from the computer all I get is: 404 Not Found: settings/server/wizard.html

Via SVN (revision 12566) I can't get slimsvc to start in XP, gives error "The slimsvc on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service."

I was able to reproduce this with a fresh XP installation as well, could it have something to do with the wizard?

Oscar - I assume you installed the Windows binary (as I've been asking you to do so :-)) on top of the 6.5.4 binary?

I can reproduce this issue. Will see what happened. That's an important case for users upgrading.

Oscar - can you get SlimServer 7 to run if you first _uninstall_ the previous version (backup slimserver.pref first)?
Comment 4 Michael Herger 2007-08-15 23:33:52 UTC
I'm sorry for the confusion... it's not only after updating.
Comment 5 Michael Herger 2007-08-16 02:48:46 UTC
Ok, checked in a fix to the build-script - we need to include a new module.
Comment 6 Michael Herger 2007-08-16 09:33:50 UTC
change 12569 - add I18N::LangTags to the build of slim.exe

Please test and re-open if needed
