Description Geoff Bonallack 2004-08-30 21:02:35 UTC
I have several collection type albums, and they result in a much larger list
of artists than I really want to see.

It would be great to be able to set the number of files that must be
associated with an artist before it shows up in the "Browse Artists"
category. That way, the new paramter could be set to (say) 4 or 5 to omit all
the artists that only have a few tracks in the overall collection. This could
be disabled by setting it to zero, or with a separate flag.

This seems like a good application of the new database and it's better support for compilation albums.

Moving bugs that won't be immediately fixed in 6.1 release. Please review and update if this is an error
or if this bug has already been fixed. Thanks.

The new Various Artist/Compilation album support in the 6.2 nightlies addresses this. Please try that
and open a new bug if you have issues. Thanks.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
