Description Orrin Charm 2004-08-30 14:28:50 UTC
If I press "add" quickly or accidentally during "now playing", is there any way
to restore the deleted track, other than to search my hard drive for any files
that are not in the playlist? Is the deletion tagged in any way??

What would be VERY useful, since deleting to the "zapped track" list does the
deleting job quite well, would be to be able to press "add" followed by a
number key, and have the currently playing track added to a new playlist
(without deleting it from the old one), so I could sort tracks as I listen to
them- i.e.: "add" "1" for dance tracks, "add" "2" for romantic music, etc.
Obviously, I would need to name the new playlists and assign a number key to
each of them.

This would greatly enhance the functionality of the Squeezebox!

Have you had a look at the QuickAccess plugin? Much of what this plugin does
seems to fit your request.

also, a deleted track is simply removed by its index reference so the track and
its info is lost from the playlist.

Moving bugs that won't be immediately fixed in 6.1 release. Please review and update if this is an error
or if this bug has already been fixed. Thanks.

Dean doesn't work here any more :)
