Description Blackketter Dean 2003-12-19 21:29:36 UTC
It should be possible to specify a player to not play audio when synced. This allows for one to act
as a master and one as a slave while conserving network bandwidth.

I saw something to do with this in cvs, but I have no idea how to activate any
given player to be 'silent'
Comment 2 Vidur Apparao 2004-06-03 14:05:16 UTC
The per-client 'silent' preference isn't exposed in the web interface, but
should do exactly what's requested. Anyone care to test this out by manually
editing slimserver.pref?
Comment 3 Blackketter Dean 2004-06-03 15:39:15 UTC
This is still a work in progress, largely untested. Not ready for 5.2 in any case.
Comment 4 Alan Young 2007-12-20 08:59:38 UTC
The Shadow Play plugin (see http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?PluginRemoteControls) can be used for this purpose.
Comment 5 Chris Owens 2008-12-18 11:50:35 UTC
Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
