Description Anoop Mehta 2007-07-27 11:37:19 UTC
Customer found this and I tested it to be true. If you have an Internet Radio set as a favorite(Miles Davis, Slim Best of), when you try to play the favorite via the web interface nothing happens. This was tested on a Windows XP machine with Firefox on SS 6.5.3 and 6.5.4. Favorite works fine from the Squeezebox.

I've also seen this with 6.5.3.

does this also happen on IE? Anything interesting in the d_source log?

Also, Anoop set the version when you file a bug, you knob! :)

I have this exact same problem as well (v6.5.4). I use IE 7.
My report was originally sent to your Support as QR #070912-002175.

Also, your assigned support engineer "Mike L" confirmed that he could recreate this same problem, which is why he then assigned it to "Level 2 Support Group".

Can I ask when you are planning to accept and assign this bug?
Also I would be happy to help do testing for you in order to get this to work.

Martin we appreciate your patience, this bug has a target fix set for SlimServer 7.0.

Anoop have you had a chance to look at this further? If you could attach a log that would be grand.

d_source shows this when I tried playing a favorite (from slim picks) from the web interface:

Already in playmode stop : ignoring mode change
Adding song index 0 to song queue
Clearing out song queue first
streamingSongIndex: Song queue is now 0

Can you still reproduce this? Or can this bug be closed?
Comment 8 Martin F 2008-01-08 17:05:53 UTC
Yes, naturally I can still reproduce the problem.
Comment 9 Andy Grundman 2008-01-08 17:11:28 UTC
Works for me in SC7.

I did this:

From the player UI, played a radio station:
Internet Radio -> Slim Picks -> Best Of -> Lounging Sound

Go right to info menu, scroll up to "Go right to add to favorites", press right.

Load web UI.

Expand Favorites.

Click Play on new favorite.

Station plays. :)

Also working fine for me in SC7, Martin what version are you using?
Comment 11 Martin F 2008-01-08 21:19:53 UTC
I'm using 6.5.4.
I went to the website but couldnt find 7.0 under the normal download area.

Thanks,
Martin

Thanks, could finally install SC7 today.
Confirmed that Favourites are now working with Internet Radio, and that this bug can be closed.
Thanks very much,
Martin

This bug is being closed since it was resolved for a version which is now released! Please download the new version of SqueezeCenter (formerly SlimServer) at http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html

If you are still seeing this bug, please re-open it and we will consider it for a future release.
