Description Osama Zaidan 2007-07-12 14:21:30 UTC
(ref # 070712-000880)

I am a happy owner of a Squeezebox v3, but I would be even happier if
this request would result in a minor software change as follows:

I have, like most mp3-users, the files organized in folders. Thus the
player stops when reaching the end of a folder.

I would appreciate VERY MUCH if the player would have a fourth repeat
menu selection: "continue", which lets the player jump to the next file
folder and continue playing.

I have an iRiver mp3 player which just continues when repeat is off, and
this is very good, because the user does not have to take an active part
in having music continue for hours. Making playlists is NO good
substitute for this feature.

The repeat function now has three settings:

1. off
2. repeat song
3. repeat folder (or equal)

I would like the repeat menu to be as follows:

1. off
2. repeat song
3. repeat folder (or equal)
4. continue to next folder

Could you please forward this suggestion to your software department and
let them have a chance to consider my suggestion?

Thank You and Best Regards,

Alas, the basic model for browsing and playing music is folder agnostic. I"m going to have to say no to this one. Suggest building playlists of the music you want to hear.
