Scanner dies/never complets updating library: DBD::mysql::db commit failed

This bug prevents me from updating my library and listening to my music. :( Let me know if I can provide you with more information. Hi Martin, It looks like it's stopping scanning before it even starts. A colleage thinks this is likely to be caused by some kind of security or virus software. Are you running anything like that, and could you disable it temporarily to see if that helps? --Chris O

Hi, Sorry for the late response. I´ve been on vacation.. I´m running OSX 10.4, without any other security measures than an active firewall. Not related to this issue, but I had to to an reinstall of the OS, so any conflicts I may have caught by modifying core elements with DarwinPorts should be gone. I (the scanner) have sucessfully populated the db with songs. :-) Changed the status to invalid. The error is gone and what might have caused it would be impossible to track down now, after the reinstall. Ill post a new report if the bug returns. Thanks for the followup on the bugreport!
