Save path settings before launching the rescan

I wonder whether this ever worked since the prefs change?
Comment 2 Ross Levine 2007-06-26 13:58:51 UTC
Maybe I'm missing something, but should this work? I was under the impression the rescan button only rescans, if you're trying to change preferences like the music or playlist folder, you'll need to hit the save settings button.

With build 12301 7.0 on Vista I'm having no trouble seeing the Save Settings button along the bottom.

It's very confusing if you need to hit two buttons to launch one single action (in the user's point of view). When I hit Rescan after I've changed the path value, I really expect it to scan the new location.

So the rescan button actually saves changes to playlist/music folder and rescans. I understand what you're describing, makes sense to me.

Thanks for clarifying Michael.
