Description Jim McAtee 2007-06-17 12:10:05 UTC
I use the Standard sized font in my player displays, with a small line of text on top, and larger line below. In the remote ui when I set Shuffle or Repeat the display uses only the small top line to show the setting text, while the rest of the display is blank. Why not utilize the entire display in the large font?

I also use the StatusFirst plugin and it uses the full sized font, so I'm guessing this must be possible.

There are also other places in the remote UI where this can be used. Looks like Sleep also exhibits this behavior and Now Playing when it displays its 'Playlist Empty' message.

Looks like I was mistaken about how the StatusFirst plugin uses the screen. In the Standard sized font it displays 'STATUSFIRST' on the top line and then the setting on the second, larger line.

At the least, the display of these settings should use the larger lower line in the Standard font size. But unless there's no control over the font size, I would think it desirable to use the full size font for the best readability from across a room.
