Description Mickey Gee 2007-05-11 13:25:32 UTC
Here's the feedback from the team doing the Italian translation:

"When you install the SlimServer exe, the server starts in English. we then modified the server language settings to Italian, then once it's closed and restarted, the tray icon menu displays correctly in the selected language.

In other words, even if the user at the beginning of the installation selects 'Italian', 'French' or whatever, the server starts in English(that's why the menu was in English), and then the user needs to go manually to the Server settings and modify the language. I think this is a bug, as the server settings language should match the one chosen for the installation process."

This is my experience using SlimServer 6.5.2, build 2007-05-11 (today's).
After the isntallation, SlimServer web page starts in the selected European languages. (I mean the SlimServer web page, not the Getting Started page.)
As for Hebrew, SlimServer web page did not start in Hebrew several days ago. I wrote a bug about that. That is bug number 4977 -- Localization: Hebrew: http://127.0.0.1:9000/ page is still in English.
I am getting ready to check Hebrew right now.

I just checked for German in May 11 build, and it works OK too. Maybe fixed?

Nobody's seen this in several days. If anyone does, please re-open.
