Description Kristian 2007-05-09 01:38:20 UTC
The alarm-function on SqueezeNetwork is really unreliable. With about 50% succes rate (i guess). The reason seams to vary but these are the sort of message/faults I get:
- Plays for 5 seconds then says rebuffering but sits at 0%
- Turns on but doesn't appear to play
- Plays starts but is intermitent, then gives up.
- Says "now playing" or "checking stream ..." but nothing happens and the whole squeezebox is locked up - I have to pull the power lead out the back. (I think I can recall that pressing and holding the power-button has brought it back to life in some of the cases)

It doesn't look like there's a problem with the streams. I've tested several streams, both mp3 and wma. (Most of these are streamed from servers in Oslo, Norway. Witch is pretty mutch as local as you can get it).

Besides I have no problems playing these streams on first atempt if I try to play them manually.

My squeezebox is switched "off" at night, showing only the clock.
