i have seen three random crashes of the slimserver service on win XP. i say 
random because on at least 2 of the 3 occasions there weren't any clients in 
use at the time. 3 event log entries:

The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message 
DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use 
the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for 
details. The following information is part of the event: Can't use an

288.

getting these crashes daily, at least. e.g. with the nightly 18 aug --

this seems to have happened when the sleep function turned off--

this crash happened when i pressed the remote's power button (turning sb off)--

this behaviour seems to have gone away with aug 21 build - this seems stable 
under the conditions that upset the earlier nightlies

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006.  I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
