Description Mikael 2007-04-09 15:10:22 UTC
Sometimes when I turn on the Transporter and select a CD to play or just switch to another CD when playing, the vu-meters are moving but no signal is transfered to the amp.
To fix it I can restart the TP or go to Settings - Audio Source (where Network is enabled as it should) and select "Balanced AES/EBU" and the reselect "Network" which give me the signal back.
I had the same problem with 6.5.1 and on 2 Transporters working independently.

Thanks
Mikael

Hi Mikael, are you using the RCA outputs to connect to your receiver?

Hi Chris, I'm using both RCA and XLR to compare sound quality so I'm not sure if the problem exist for both outputs. I used XLR most of the time. Do you want me to sure?

If you're using XLR most of the time I'll just focus my testing there. What firmware version does your Transporter have on it? You can find this in the 'Current Settings' menu in setup, or in 'Settings' -> 'Player Information' if you're connected to Slimserver.

Just to make sure I tried to use RCA for a while and the problem is here to.

Fixed in trunk 17060 / firmware 40.
Comment 6 James Richardson 2008-04-29 11:28:39 UTC
Changing fixed target to 7.1 as FW 40 will be released then, not in 7.0.1

This bug has now been fixed in the 7.1 release version of SqueezeCenter! Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com if you haven't already.
