Description Tairan Zhang 2007-04-05 12:01:35 UTC
With vinyl rips track numbers may be entered according to the side of the vinyl - A, B1, B2, etc. While this is allowed in the ID3V2 spec, SlimServer does not recognize non-numeric tags in this field and converts them to a seemingly arbitrary number (the number of total tracks?). For a standard 2-sided vinyl, tracks A and B therefore both appear as "track 2."

In some ways this sounds similar to Bug 4823. It may have something to do with tinyint. I am thinking this is more of an enhancement request then a bug at the moment.

Unassigned bugs cannot have a priority.
