Description Paul Williamson 2004-08-07 14:34:45 UTC
SqueezeboxG, firmware 3.1 and Slimp3 firmware 2.3.

When changing from 39 to 40 or 40 to 39, a small pop can be heard.

I'm hearing this too.
Comment 2 Sean Adams 2005-03-28 17:25:32 UTC
This may be related to the phase inversion on s/pdif. I suspect the phase is correct up to 39 and then it
inverts going to 40, causing the click. Maybe Micronas bug or maybe our volume function is wrong.

I see this on my slimp3's -- not every time but pretty often. I'm just using
RCA output.
Comment 4 Philip Meyer 2005-04-04 11:58:17 UTC
I hear the click using the RCA analog output, so does that rule out the s/pdif
idea?
Comment 5 Kevin Pearsall 2005-04-26 11:02:00 UTC
someone reported this to me, and i was just able to reproduce it... using fw
40, 6.0.2 from the branch, graphic display, playing mp3 through the analog outputs.

doesn't happen when paused.

Alas, we can't fix this.
