Bugzilla – Bug 4836
Rhapsody UPnP server doesn't show up in SlimServer (Rhap 4.0)
Last modified: 2009-09-08 09:11:29 UTC
Rhapsody 4.0 has "Enabled Rhapsody Server (UPnP) when I sign in to Rhapsody" enabled by default. They also have something that says "Server status: Stopped" to the left of this. As well there is also "UPnP mode" from the tools pull down menu. While in 'UPnP mode' and just the default download which claims to have the UPnP server enabled, SlimServer never sees any mention of this on the web interface. Steps to reproduce are simple, download and install SlimServer 6.5.1, download and install Rhapsody 4.0 and sign in.
Andy, if this isn't our bug, do you usually communicate with Rhapsody about it, or should I get Dean to talk to them, or what?
I don't talk to them about UPnP issues.
Dean what are your thoughts on this bug?
Dean, per your requested I tested against Rhapsody 3.0 (http://service.real.com/rhapsody/download/version3/) and that works perfectly out of the box with SlimServer, the problem must be introduced by Rhapsody 4.0
Changing to future, there is no reason to use Rhapsody UPnP anymore.
Per comment #5 marking this bug as no longer valid.
Yep, UPnP Rhapsody is dropped from SC7.
