Description Mick 2007-03-15 00:04:42 UTC
I've noticed that my SB2 on FW76 will reboot mid-song for some reason on FW76. THere's no server error recorded in event log and the server is still running.
The SB will normally come back up so quickly and reconnect with the network that it's hard to spot. Some have stated that it continues playing the song it was playing ay the time of the crash.

That might depend on the Power On/Off preferences.

Also the other day, my SB2 hung solid and needed a power cycle again nothing in the event log.

I left the player running for 24hrs with d_frmware,d_source and d_slimproto logged.
And there are a couple of HELO proto messages logged were the player has reconnected. 1 occurance at 5:25am when nobody was around to cycle the player.

The log file is 9Mb compressed can be sent on by mail.

Oh yeah meant to add, that as best I can tell, the player will not repeatedly crash on the same song, it seems random.

Mick, you may want to try running a Server & Network Health test and see if it comes up with anything. More
