Hello

After going to 6.5.1, then later to 6.5.2, when my SB unit (firmware 40) is off, the screen does
not display the date and time.

Yet using my SB v2 (firmware 72) it works correctly - by displaying the date and time when powered off.

Thoughts?

1)try the brightness button.
2) double check your screensaver settings for that player when off.  The screensaver naming did change along the way, such that a setting of 'none' for the screensaver was exactly that: nothing, instead of falling back to date and time.

Any luck here?  Closing this off as a "works for me", as this really sounds like a setup issue (reports just like this come up from time to time in the forums with the very simple solutions already posted in the comments).  If the display is really dark then the procedure should be to contact support@slimdevices.com for diagnosis and an RMA if there is a hardware problem.

If this is found to be some sort of bug, support can reopen.
