Description Ross Levine 2007-03-08 17:38:29 UTC
This is a problem with 6.5.1 only, not 6.5.2 or 7.0, I just wanted to make sure this is documented somewhere.

When tapping sleep once to sleep at end of a song, it fades the last 60 seconds quiet, except the final 10 seconds are at full volume and there is a brief blip of the following song at the very last second, then it sleeps. I'm surprised nobody has reported this.

Thanks Dan!

Adding Dan to CC, he may have further input. He and I have both verified this.

Hi guys,

I've updated to the latest firmware (12th May'07) however this bug still exists, even in 6.5.2.

When you press the sleep button, would it not be easier for the program to not fade the music, just switch off after the track playing finishes?

However I suppose for the other options, 15 minutes plus, you might need to retain the fading functionality, but this still needs to be addressed and added to the list of things still to fix.

Cheers,

Neil

Still seeing this with SlimServer Version: 6.5.2 - 12047.

I've checked in a possible fix for this bug in change 12324, when sleeping, we shouldn't advance to the next track at all. Please test.

Works great in 7.0 and 6.5.3 trunk, I'll mark this as fixed and verified. Thanks Andy!
