Description Wallace Lai 2007-02-27 09:56:07 UTC
System Info: Dell Optiplex GX620, Pentium D, 2.8 GHz, 0.99 GB in RAM, XP SP2 ENU

Steps:
1. On a clean ghost of XP SP2 ENU, install 7.0a1 builds of 2007-02-26 or 2007-02-27.
2. Start SlimServer and the Web UI.
3. Go to Music Folder on the SlimServer Web UI.
4. There are some sample tracks in the Sample Music folder.
5. Click the "+" button for this folder to add it to the Playlists.
6. Notice only the name of the folder is added to the Playlists -- the right side the Web UI.
7. Click the ">" button for the folder on the Playlists. Notice SqueezeBox says "Problem: CAN'T OPEN FILE FOR: Sample Music".

Note:
Tried the same steps on 7.0a1 of 2007-02-24 build and today's 6.5.2 build. This problem is not seen.

seems change 11511 is where it broke. 11510 works, 11511 doesn't.

OK I know why this occurs - I believe it is only for browse music folder though.

Dan - why does objectForUrl return a track object when the url is a directory?

I believe this is fixed by change 11649. Please check and close if so.

wallace, 20070321: Based on Triode1's comment about this bug being fixed, tried it on 7.0a1, build 2007-03-21. The fix has been verified. Bug as written is no longer seen. closing. However, regression tests uncovers the fact that the PlayList Add function does not work. Logging that bug.
