It would be nice if the search of the web interface would be accessible as a standalone website (through a different port). 
I want myself and other people to provide a search possibility to my music collection (without download possiblity!). The search feature of the SlimServer has everything I need for this, except that I don't want all the other stuff (admin settings, player interface, server settings). 
A standalone application with just the search interface would therefore be nice
