Description Malcolm Green 2007-02-26 08:26:16 UTC
The CLI commands playlist addalbum, playlist loadalbum and playlist insertalbum queue two instances of each album track in some cases. I suspect this is where the artist occurs in both the artist and albumartist tags. This behaviour did not occur in previous versions.

Strange I'm not able to reproduce this. Malcom would you please attach one of the music files that demonstrate this? You mention a file with an artist and an album artist.

Also, would you please paste the exact command you're using?

This track illustrates the problem

To reproduce the problem, I created a library with only this file in it, and issued the following command via a Telnet session to the CLI:

playlist loadalbum * Diana%20Krall All%20for%20You

This resulted in two entries in the queue.

Malcom thank you so much for the file and the clear reproduction steps, I was able to reproduce this using the exact steps you've made.

Fred I hope you don't mind me adding you to this bug, do you have any time to take a look at this?
Comment 4 Fred 2007-03-01 12:28:11 UTC
Assign it to me, I'll have a look. Good report.
