Description Dan Evans 2007-02-20 13:35:13 UTC
Reseller is unable to connect his Transporter to a new Netgear WNR854T. Tried updating the router's firmware. Tried factory reset and password walkthru. It works with WEP only. (don't know about WPA1)

Chris, should we order one of these? They have them in stock at Amazon for $150.

WPA1 fails also. We have tested firmware versions 1.1.26 through 1.4.09 so far.
Also tried turning off "N" draft parameters and running at legacy 54Mbps with no luck.

OK, the router I have was shipped with firmware version 1.4.09NA installed. I have tried a number of router, transporter and squeezebox wireless configurations and have always been able to connect successfully. I even tried different firmware on the players to no effect. Dan, ideas?
