However, when I press "rewind" it always starts playing. The same is true of the "fast forward" after pausing. In this respect, the SLIMP3's behavior differs from my CD player. Is there any way I can control or modify this? OK. Picture me lounging while listening to music. I'm perhaps a minute into a song, and I decide to get up. However, I know that when I come back, I'll want to start at the beginning of the song, not in the middle. So, I: 1) hit the Pause button on the remote. 2) Hit the Rewind/Previous Track button on the remote. On my CD player, this would leave me paused at the beginning of the song. On my SLIMP3, hitting Rewind/Previous Track goes to the beginning of the song, and then it starts playing, which is not what I wanted. What I'm looking for is the same behavior as the CD player: moving forwards/backwards doesn't affect whether playback is paused or not. Let me know if that helps... Regards, R.
Created attachment 28 [details] if playmode is pause, then don't play after a simple rew to beginning of song. This could be done via a pref, perhaps. You may always want to be more specific and stay paused ONLY for rew to beginning. If you skip back (as you do within 1s of start of a song) or skip to next, you may want to actually play.
Try pressing and holding Pause to stop and then pressing pause again to restart at the beginning of the track. (under 7.0)
