Description Dominique Cote 2007-01-19 03:59:47 UTC
This internet radio station:

http://www.sofaspace.ch/stream.ogg.m3u

will begin playing normally, but after anywhere between 1-15 minutes SB3 will crash with the following display message:
"out of decoder memory".
after that, the screensaver (large spectrum analyzer) stays in the screen background while it is possible to browse menus.
however, playback does not begin.
SB3 must be powered off for a cold boot before playback works again.

the stream itself seems ok, winamp plays it without problems.

other ogg/vorbis internet radio streams play ok on the very same SB3.
(example: http://stream.lrz-muenchen.de:31337/m945-hq.ogg)

this occurs everytime the stream is played.

bug occurs with SS 6.5.0 and 6.5.1 as well as FW 64 and 71.
Comment 1 Dominique Cote 2007-01-19 04:03:14 UTC
in this configuration, native ogg/vorbis support in SB3 was used.

transcoding to FLAC makes the problem go away.
