Description Wallace Lai 2007-01-16 18:21:49 UTC
SlimServer and System Info:
SlimServer Version: 6.5.1 - 11206 - Debian - EN - utf8
Perl Version: 5.8.8 i486-linux-gnu-thread-multi
MySQL Version: 4.1.15-Debian_lubuntu5

Steps:
1. Install SlimServer onto Ubuntu.
2. Start SlimServer. Start FireFox.
3. On FireFox, go to localhost:9000.
4. Go to Server Settings page. Key in some folders names. Scan for songs.
5. Repeat step 4 several times.
6. Notice sometimes FireFox would stop responding. The bottum of the browser would say "waiting for localhost:9000".

does the server crash (requiring restart) or does the http response simply stall?

--perfwarn use might help here as well.
Comment 2 KDF 2007-04-26 22:45:23 UTC
any new information on this one?
