Description Ross Levine 2007-01-11 14:23:11 UTC
While streaming and OGG file from 6.5.1 - 11159 hold FWD or REW to seek. This results in the error message "Problem: Can't open file for" which isn't appropriate, and then the Squeezebox doesn't respond to the play button other than to repeat said error message. Holding the pause button to stop, then hitting play is the work around.
Comment 1 Robert Anderberg 2007-01-11 15:06:42 UTC
Sometimes even stopping the track then pressing play isn't enough to start playback again, sometimes you have to change to a different track and press play.
Comment 2 Chris Owens 2007-01-11 16:16:32 UTC
Ross, did you have a chance to verify this behavior or shall I have a look?
Comment 3 Ross Levine 2007-01-11 16:20:51 UTC
Chris, yes, verified.
Comment 4 KDF 2007-01-11 19:21:38 UTC
note sure this should be "future" yet?

also see bug 3809 for a related issue: ogg can't currently support FWD/REW
Comment 5 Chris Owens 2007-01-12 09:40:30 UTC
ah no it should not be 'future'.
Comment 6 Ross Levine 2007-05-18 13:16:39 UTC
I'm no longer seeing this with the 6.5.2 - 12039, probably due to changes in socket wrapper? I'm going to mark this bug as works for me, if anyone notices this again please feel free to re-open.
