It'd be nice if SlimServer would ask image search engines automatically for the cover art and save it in the album directory (or where specified). An option to correct that automatic choice should be provided in case of wrong photos.

Try Album Art Aggregator or some of the tools listed here in the meantime:

I use Album Cover Art Downloader from http://louhi.kempele.fi/~skyostil/projects/albumart/ and like it a lot. but again, an automatic, integrated solution is far better.
